About Louis Varel
Having started his early career as a scarves designer, Lous Varel moved from Italy to Paris in 1973 where he was introduced to the perfumery industry. As a box designer, Varel had a unique talent for creating one of a kind artwork that stood out on the shelves. It wasn’t long until the Italian born designer followed his ambition for creating fragrances. Varel travelled around the world to discover the mystery behind creating the perfect juice and discovering the connection between the culture and the acceptance of different kinds of scents.

Louis Varel shares a passion for travel and learning about the culture of others which is reflected within his collections. For example, Oud Side is a scent that takes elements from the Arabian Desert and the far African Valleys. The fragrance also features oriental notes with bergamot and saffron and a musky background.
