Cerruti was originally formed in 1881 as a textile business and was transformed in the twentieth century by Nino Cerruti into a fashion design house. Cerruti fragrances were first introduced in 1978, producing both a Nino Cerruti fragrance for men and Nino Cerruti women's fragrance, the most famous being Cerruti 1881.
